AMC's Gothic Horror Drama Adds Experienced Actors to Cast
Eric Bogosian and Luke Brandon Field will portray Daniel Molloy in the upcoming AMC series, Interview with the Vampire.
Eric Bogosian, best known for his roles in Talk Radio and The Grifters, will play the older version of Daniel Molloy, a veteran journalist who interviews vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson). Luke Brandon Field, who has appeared in shows like The Terror and The Witcher, will play the younger version of Molloy.
The casting of Bogosian and Field is a coup for the series, as both actors are known for their intense and nuanced performances. Bogosian's portrayal of the older Molloy is sure to bring depth and gravitas to the role, while Field's youthful energy will add a sense of urgency to the character's journey.
Interview with the Vampire is based on the novel of the same name by Anne Rice. The series follows the story of Louis, a vampire who recounts his life story to Molloy. The series is set to premiere on AMC in 2023.
