From the AHL to the NHL: Holloway's Journey to the Big Leagues

Dylan Holloway, the highly anticipated prospect from Calgary, has made a name for himself in recent years with his impressive performance both in the American Hockey League (AHL) and now with the Edmonton Oilers. Born on September 23, 2001, Holloway began his hockey career at the age of 15, playing for the Calgary Flames' midget AAA team.

AHL Success with the Bakersfield Condors

In 2019, Holloway signed an entry-level contract with the Oilers and was assigned to their AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors. During his time with the Condors, Holloway quickly established himself as a top performer, scoring 15 goals and 23 assists in 44 games during the 2020-21 season. His impressive play earned him a spot on the AHL All-Rookie Team.

Call-Up to the Edmonton Oilers

Holloway's success in the AHL did not go unnoticed, and in January 2022, he was called up to the Edmonton Oilers. He made his NHL debut on January 7, 2022, and has since recorded 4 goals and 5 assists in 28 games. His speed, skill, and physicality have impressed Oilers fans and coaches alike, and he is expected to play a major role in the team's future success.
